Event: Minneapolis Regional Event Sponsored by KCC

COSAL members gathered at the offices of Lockridge Grindal Nauen P.L.L.P. followed by a networking dinner at Maison Margeaux hosted by KCC, which included an appearance by the head chef who gave an explanation of the delicious meal. Dan Hedlund, a COSAL past president, served as the evening’s emcee. His break-the-ice question about favorite concert experiences revealed an interesting array of music tastes and eras, including a number of lucky folks who saw Taylor Swift on her recent concert tour. Pamela Gilbert gave a brief COSAL update focused on COSAL’s committees, which are going strong.

Justin Stofferahn, Antimonopoly Director of the Minnesota Farmers Union, attended and said a few words about some of the competition issues he is working on in the Minnesota legislature. COSAL hopes to be able to collaborate with Justin on state legislation that can strengthen private antitrust enforcement in Minnesota, and perhaps use that experience to work on similar legislation in other states as well.
