Washington DC Regional Event at GW Law

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, COSAL hosted a panel discussion for law students from Washington DC-area law schools at the George Washington University Law School (GW Law) campus in Washington, DC. This was the third law school student event hosted by COSAL and was a huge success with 80+ law students from four different law schools in attendance. COSAL members, several of which were GW alums, joined us.

A legislative update was provided by Cuneo, Gilbert & LaDuca's Sarah Rooney and Slade Bond (both GW alums) followed by a one-hour panel discussion, "Champions for Consumers and Small Businesses: Becoming an Antitrust Plaintiff’s Lawyer," moderated by GW Law students.

Panelists:
Justin Boley, Partner, Wexler Boley & Elgersma LLP, Chicago
Robert W. Cobbs, Partner, Cohen Milstein, Washington DC
Samantha Derksen, Partner, Hausfeld, Washington DC (GW Alum)
David Seidel, Partner, Joseph Saveri Law Firm, San Francisco (GW Alum)

Kyle Mason, also a GW alum, welcomed the guests to the cocktail reception that was hosted by EisnerAmper.
